Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

8:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone lost in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint at Fish Creek Falls Road. A person riding a scooter called in to report an SUV passing over a double yellow line.

8:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

12:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint at Chinook Lane and Walton Creek Road. A person directing traffic for construction called to complain that drivers were not stopping for his sign.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief at Seventh and Yampa streets. A person called to report that an inappropriate word was scratched into the passenger side door of his or her car.

1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the first block of Park Place. A person reported that a fraudulent tax return was filled out in his or her name.

1:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a civil complaint in the 1600 block of Natches Way. Neighbors were involved in a dispute about one cutting the other person’s plants, and the other watering illegally.

3:08 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a theft in the 44000 block of Routt County Road 46B. A man called to report that he thought he was missing tools. It was a dispute with a landlord, and the man was not in the area.

3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet and cellphone found in the 800 block of Weiss Drive.

4:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. A person called to complain about a white Ford Bronco hanging out in a parking lot.

5:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. A man in a business made comments that an employee interpreted as threatening. Officers were called to escort the man out. He was issued a trespassing warning and told not to return.

8:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunk pedestrian in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A drunken man was cursing at Steamboat Campground employees.

9:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks at Shadow Run Condominiums. Officers were unable to locate whoever set them off.

9:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of shots fired at Rabbit Run and C.R. 129. Deputies were unable to locate anyone.

11:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 600 block of Anglers Drive. A woman called to complain that her upstairs neighbor was stomping around and playing loud music. She said she thought he might be mad at her because she didn’t give him a ride home after seeing him at the liquor store.

11:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1900 block of Curve Court.

11:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint at Village Drive and Meadow Lane. A person called to report loud music and voices that had been continuing for an hour.

Looks like the 200 block on Anglers Drive is a hi crime area just like 7th and Yampa. Tourists be warned. Not to mention all those "suspicious" cars all over town.
