Police, fire and ambulance calls
5:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. No other information was available.
7:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of illegal dumping in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive. A person reported trash dumped in his or her Dumpster. Officers found a name and are following up on the incident.
8:26 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to perform a welfare check in the 100 block of West Virginia Street in Oak Creek. Everything was fine.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to perform a welfare check at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. They were unable to locate the individual.
12:39 p.m. Officers were called to a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A semitrailer hit a parked car.
2:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A car had damage after being hit in a parking lot. Officers are investigating the incident.
4:01 p.m. Officers were called to a vehicle complaint in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. A motorcycle rider complained that a car cut him off but did not want the driver cited. The driver was given a warning.
4:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen car at mile marker 101 on U.S. Highway 40. The car had been moved.
6:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 300 block of Oak Street. A contractor playing music while working was warned for loud music.
8:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Damage was reported on a car in a parking garage.
10:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at Howelsen Hill. A man reported witnessing people taking a sign. Officers found no evidence of a sign being missing.
