Craig resident Deana Miller, 24, who friends and family said was missing since late last week, was found Wednesday morning near Browns Park.
Miller, who is a mother of three, is being treated at The Memorial Hospital in Craig.
The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office began its search for Miller after her mother, Reta Turner, of Idaho, called the Sheriff’s Office on Monday to file a missing person report, Undersheriff Charlene Abdella said.
Before she was found Wednesday, Miller last was seen at Browns Park with a group of friends during the weekend, Abdella said.
Literary Sojourn presents Wine for Words on July 31
Literary Sojourn presents a special event this summer in support of the nonprofit festival of readers and authors. Wine for Words is July 31 and offers attendees the chance to spend an evening celebrating wine and books with celebrity wine auctioneer Ursula Hermacinski, author of “The Wine Lovers Guide to Auctions.” Twelve guests have a chance to experience the intimate wine tasting with Ursula at 5:30 p.m.
Founder of Christie’s New York and Los Angeles wine auction departments and America’s first female wine auctioneer, Hermacinski will host a tutored sit-down tasting to explore the romance and mystery of wine. The tutored tasting is followed from 7 to 9 p.m. by the Tingle & Mingle, where Hermacinski will circulate through the crowd to talk about the evening’s wines and answer any wine questions while Italian treats from an acclaimed second-generation Italian restaurant emerge from the hosts’s outdoor oven.
All proceeds benefit Literary Sojourn, which is a nonprofit event under the auspices of the Bud Werner Memorial Library. Tickets are $175 for the Tasting with Ursula and $50 for the Tingle & Mingle, and are on sale at www.literarysojourn.org/wine-words.
