Police, fire and ambulance calls
8:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a semitrailer that rolled over near mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 40 on Rabbit Ears Pass. The two occupants were taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
9:48 a.m. A found $3,000 bike was turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.
10:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who spotted a car involved in a hit-and-run crash in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. It was the wrong car.
11:13 a.m. A person came to the police department and reported receiving harassing text messages. Two people were sending each other harassing text messages, and they were given warnings.
1:19 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 37600 block of Saddle Mountain Drive.
3:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road who lost a $1,000 wedding ring.
5:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
6:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of theft in the 2800 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A person said his or her $250 bike was stolen from the Yampa River Core Trail while the person was fishing.
