The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering free mammograms and pap tests for women 40 to 64 who are uninsured or underinsured, have not had a pap test or mammogram in the past 12 months and meet income requirements. Cultural integration group seeks bilingual volunteers

Medical Center seeks to fill board of directors opening
The South Routt Medical Center Health Service District board of directors has an opening for a board member. The South Routt Medical Center is a special district governed by Title 32 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The medical center is experiencing significant growth with many future projects pending. Interested board members should be registered electors of the district, willing to commit to fulfill a term that ends in May 2014 and be able to attend at least one meeting per month. It is a volunteer position.

Boys & Girls Club’s Be Great Brunch is Aug. 4
The Boys & Girls Club of Steamboat Springs’ annual Be Great Brunch is Aug. 4 at Three Peaks Grill. The three-course brunch will include sparkling wine and an auction. Mainstreet Steamboat Springs is in need of volunteers to help create programs and events that will benefit downtown businesses and the community. Volunteers are asked to work two to four hours per month. Specifically, volunteers are needed for the Promotion Committee, which plans special events, retail events and branding.
