Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of person who was concerned about a friend in the 3100 block of Chinook Lane. The friend was fine. The person who called later was taken to detox.

7:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a kayak found in the 1700 block of Fetcher Park Drive. It was returned to its owner.

9:52 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of wildland fire in the 7700 block of Trailhead Lane. A burn pile had reignited.

10:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of identity theft in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of theft in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between neighbors involving a juvenile and an older person in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

1:03 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 28300 block of Routt County Road 43.

1:31 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to help a person who was riding a dirt bike in the Cow Creek area and crashed. The person was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.

2:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about where things were being stored in the Spar Street area.

3:55 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a 63-year-old man who was riding his bicycle and crashed after being blown over by the wind near mile marker 103 on U.S. Highway 40. The man was given a ride home before firefighters arrived.

5:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned that a man was having trouble walking at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road. Everything was fine.

6:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was returned to its owner.

6:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about people taking pictures of a moose and its calf in the 3200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

6:58 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person smoking marijuana in a car at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The car was found, but nobody was in it.

9:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had shoplifted a bottle of gin from a liquor store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

9:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people arguing at Yampa and 11th streets.

9:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 2700 block of Medicine Springs Drive. They were given a warning.

10:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was concerned about what she described as a group of gangsters in a moving van at Stock Bridge Transit Center. The people were contacted, and everything was fine.

10:45 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Steamboat Lake.

10:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 1900 block of Walton Creek Road. Summonses were issued to minors for possessing alcohol.

11:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two males yelling in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was quiet when officers arrived.
