Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:16 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 100 block of West Main Street.

9:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of harassment in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive. A man was given a warning.

9:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an attempted burglary at the Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs. Someone cut through the fabric exterior, but was not able to gain entry. Damage was estimated at $350.

9:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road.

10:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident on Fish Creek Falls Road near Third Street. The driver crashed into a guardrail while trying to avoid a car that swerved into the wrong lane. The driver had minor injuries, and the car that swerved could not be found.

10:42 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $250 mountain bike stolen in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

11:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of current and former girlfriend who were harassing each other. They were told to stop.

11:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of $250 in cash found in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive. The owner was found.

11:46 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

2 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 28300 block of Routt County Road 43.

2:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone found in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

3:14 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

3:20 p.m. A found wallet was turned in at the police station.

3:29 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help an elderly person with a nose bleed that would not stop in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue.

3:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike found in a ditch in the 1700 block of Timothy Drive.

3:48 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a drunken woman involved in a domestic dispute in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive.

3:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was bitten by a dog at North Park Road and Missouri Avenue. A citation was given to the dog’s owner.

4:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two stop signs that had been knocked down at Eighth and Oak streets.

4:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a new mattress stolen from a business in the 1800 block of Shield Drive.

5:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear on a deck in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane, and it would not leave.

7:06 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a cyclist that possibly broke his or her collarbone while racing at Howelsen Hill.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an ongoing harassment issue between two neighbors in the first block of Anglers Drive.

8:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of multiple people fighting on the Yampa River Core Trail in southern Steamboat. They were gone when officers arrived.

8:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three young children playing in traffic on Lincoln Avenue in west Steamboat.

8:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of road rage involving a car passing cyclists at the Fifth Street Bridge. Words and hand gestures were exchanged, and the cyclists could not be found.

10:50 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person in the 33700 block of Sky Valley Drive.
