Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of issues with trash cans and bears in the 300 block of Pine Street.

8:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had been given a trespass warning at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue and was making threats over the phone.

9:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two bikes found in the 100 block of Fourth Street.

9:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at South Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Road.

10:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that cut off a pedestrian at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver was found and given a written warning.

10:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

10:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who cut off a cyclist at Walton Creek and Whistler roads. The driver could not be found.

11:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone found at a movie theater in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza.

11:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorcyclist who clipped a sign being held by a person directing traffic in the 2000 block of 13th Street. The motorcyclist could not be found.

11:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a couple who were harassing each other over the phone.

12:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman hitchhiking in the middle of the road at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. She was given a warning.

12:29 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 100 block of 11th Street.

12:31 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who tried to buy computers with American Express gift cards that were not activated in the 100 block of Eighth Street. It is suspected the gift cards might have been stolen.

2:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $200 eagle wood carving stolen in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.

4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who stole $23 in gas from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

6:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had shoplifted from a convenience store in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, theft and being a fugitive of justice.

6:47 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 200 block of West Main Street.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of yelling at a townhome on Whistler Road. A warning was given.

9:07 p.m. Officers were called to help a person who was concerned about an animal stuck in the exhaust fan above the oven in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. The tenant was told to call his or her landlord.

10:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who made a suicidal comment in Steamboat. The person was fine and had made the comment a few weeks ago.

11:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two people arguing in the 3300 block of Covey Circle.
