12:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A drunken man was crying at the bar. The man's dad came to pick him up.

3:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 800 block of Douglas Street.

6:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears getting into trash in the first block of Anglers Drive.

8:56 a.m. Officers contacted a transient man at a bus stop on Pine Grove Road and gave him trespass warnings for two businesses.

8:59 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the first block of Anglers Drive. The person was referred to mental health officials.

9:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person at the post office who had fallen victim to a check scam.

10:23 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a woman who came home and her stove was on fire in the 100 block of Arthur Avenue. The fire quickly was put out.

4:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 200 block of Third Street.

5:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a kayak stolen from a person's yard in the 1900 block of Cornice Road.

5:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 3300 block of Apr├Ęs Ski Way.

6:08 p.m. Officers tried to contact suspicious juveniles in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. They ran away.

6:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman seen on surveillance video shoplifting items from a business in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

6:26 p.m. Officers talked with a person in the 800 block of Weiss Circle who wanted to complain about dust being stirred up by road workers.

7:29 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a person at Yampa Valley Medical Center who had been bitten by a dog.

9:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of River Queen Lane. The bear had climbed onto a second-story balcony where there was a humming bird feeder.
