Joey Kay and Cyle Bushong, of Steamboat Springs, have opened the Steamboat Curtain Factory, 1685 Mid Valley Drive No. 3.

The new business will offer measuring, ordering, manufacturing and installation of products that will be made in the Yampa Valley, including drapes, curtains, bedding and soft furnishings, according to a news release.

Pro Challenge sponsorship opportunities are available

USA Pro Challenge sponsorship opportunities are available to area businesses, according to a news release.

Sponsorship levels include yellow jersey at $15,000, blue jersey at $10,000, red jersey at $7,500, green jersey at $5,000, white jersey at $2,500 and fan jersey at $1,000.

The fan jersey category includes two VIP credentials to the finish Aug. 21 or start Aug. 22, or one to each, with live viewing and catering. Fan jersey members also will receive name recognition as supporters in select Bike Town USA Steamboat stage material, according to the release. The fan jersey is available until June 14.

Meetings are slated to discuss community plan

Routt County community members are invited to a series of meetings to discuss and review the Steamboat Springs Area Community Plan, according to a news release.

The Community Plan is a joint effort between the city of Steamboat Springs and Routt County to set a vision for the community and the steps to get there as our region of Northwest Colorado continues to grow.

The meetings will begin with a short presentation about the plan and then offer attendees the opportunity to provide input on their preferred growth option for the community.

The presentation and the opportunity to participate also will be available online, she said. In the near future, a link will take visitors from www.steamboatsprings.net/communityplan to the COMPASS Online presentation and survey.

Meeting times are as follows:

■ 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Commissioners Hearing Room at the Routt County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Ave.

■ 6 p.m. June 11 in Conference Room 1 at Yampa Valley Medical Center, 1024 Central Park Drive

■ 6 p.m. June 17 in the East Room at Steamboat Springs Community Center, 1605 Lincoln Ave.

■ 6 p.m. June 19 at Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library, 1289 Lincoln Ave.

■ 6 p.m. June 26 at the Mountain Fire Station, 2600 Pine Grove Road.
