Steamboat Springs Three community boards or committees have spots open for residents of Steamboat Springs or Routt County.
The Board of Adjustment has two three-year alternate spots available to Steamboat residents. The board meets when needed on the first and third Thursday of each month and hears matters related to zoning.
The Urban Development Authority Advisory Committee has a community member at-large position open. The committee meets on the first Thursday of each month and makes recommendations to the authority in charge of the Steamboat Springs Base Area Reinvestment Plan.
Members of both boards listed above receive Howelsen Hill ski passes.
The Yampa Valley Housing Authority Board has a position open for a resident of Routt County. The Steamboat Springs City Council and Routt County Board of Commissioners jointly appoint members to the board, and the person appointed to this position would serve until Dec. 31, 2015.
