Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a driver tailgating at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. The driver was contacted and given a warning.

1:53 a.m. Officers contacted a drunken man in the first block of Sequoia Court. The man had drunk too much tequila and was taken to detox.

6:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two portable toilets that had been tipped over in the 3800 block of Whistler Road.

10:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dump truck driving without an engine brake muffler. The truck could not be found.

11:20 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 27500 block of Silver Spur Street.

11:31 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of identity theft in Yampa.

11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a small, black wallet containing $45 in cash.

12:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a pallet of construction material stolen from the 1800 block of Shield Drive.

12:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a teenage girl who was uncomfortable with approaches from a man.

12:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

1:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

2:39 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a wildfire at Fish Creek Falls Reservoir. An area about 4 inches in diameter was smoldering, according to the report. A U.S. Forest Service crew was going to investigate the fire.

3:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a license plate stolen from a trailer in the 2800 block of Elk River Road.

3:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a resident at 11th and Oak streets who was complaining about a neighbor sanding his or her deck. The resident wanted to know if the noise was above decibel limits.

3:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought he or she saw a child locked in a car for 10 minutes at Fetcher Park. The car was gone when officers arrived.

7:04 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

9:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a group that left a restaurant in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue without paying its $140 tab. They came back and paid.

11:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

11:39 p.m. Officers contacted a drunken man in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:42 p.m. Officers returned to the party in the 500 block of Anglers Drive and gave a warning.
