Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp’s low-flying trapeze instructor and choreographer Julie Ludwick is offering an open community class in low-flying trapeze at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Steinberg Pavilion at Perry-Mansfield. Author, journalist is teaching a blogging class Saturday

Author and journalist Edith Lynn Hornik-Beer will teach a class about how to cash in on blogs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Bristol Hall Room 221 at Colorado Mountain College. Hornik-Beer has been earning money with blogging since 2004, and she will discuss how to use blogging to promote your business, book or general profession and how to get jobs writing blogs. Counseling is available to help tobacco users quit

Counseling is available through the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association to help tobacco users quit, according to a news release. Counseling can help tobacco users set quit goals as well as receive support for weight management, nutrition, heart health and stress control. The free service is available in English and Spanish. Tennis championships are this weekend in Steamboat

The Steamboat Tennis Association Championships are from Friday to Sunday. The weekend event kicks off with a pickleball tournament Friday followed by adult and junior tennis.
