Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A man reported getting punched for no reason. A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

7:51 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a dead deer that had been hit by a car near mile marker 120 on U.S. Highway 40.

8:17 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of cyclists not following the rules near mile marker 126 on U.S. 40. A deputy followed them, and they were following the rules.

9:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been keyed in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive.

9:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a motorcyclist who crashed while rounding a corner on Rabbit Ears Pass. The motorcyclist had minor injuries to the elbow but refused medical treatment.

9:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike and wallet found at Stock Bridge Transit Center.

10:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of road rage at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. A white van was tailgating, and the driver was cursing at a driver because of a bumper sticker.

10:38 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who had a seizure at Fetcher Park.

12:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 900 block of Central Park Drive.

12:48 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an injured cyclist at Steamboat Ski Area.

1 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a possible drunken man in his 60s who fell in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

1:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a black wallet found at Howelsen Hill.

2:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $67 in gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

2:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person returned to pay for the gas.

5:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in Gondola Square who lost $325 in cash. The person placed the money on a shelf in a bathroom stall and forgot it. The money was gone when the person realized he or she left the money.

7:04 p.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person at the Steamboat Lake State Park visitor center.

5:53 p.m. -- Don't feel bad -- my bro'-in-law left $6,000 in chips in a restroom in Vegas. Gone. One only hopes a janitor or down-on-their-luck jigalo found it. Not another high-roller.
