Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight at a gas station in the first block of Anglers Drive. Two women involved in a road rage incident were arguing from their cars. It escalated into a physical altercation. One female was given a summons to appear in court. A 26-year-old woman was arrested because police said she had been drinking, and there was a protection order that made it illegal for her to drink.

2:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who said someone was trying to bang on his or her door and enter in the 2700 block of Après Ski Way.

3:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who could not sleep because people were being loud in the hot tubs. It was quiet when officers arrived, and no one was there.

3:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fire at the Routt County Sheriff’s Office. A security entrance speaker was smoking.

8:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of man in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza who was acting suspicious. He reportedly looked like he was on drugs and was picking up cigarette butts and trying to smoke them.

8:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to put out a fire that was smoldering at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:14 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was speeding the previous night at Whistler Road and Meadow Lane.

1:18 p.m. Officers were called to check on a woman who lives in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle because she had not shown up for work or a baby-sitting job. She could not be found.

2:14 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 30400 block of Coyote Run Court.

2:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain biker who ran a red light at Pine Grove and Mount Werner roads. The biker could not be found.

2:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found his or her stolen bike at a pawn shop in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a black Subaru that was being driven recklessly in the 100 block of Howelsen Parkway.

3:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had his or her cellphone stolen from along the Yampa River by Bud Werner Memorial Library.

4:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a small wooden box containing marijuana and a pipe at a hotel room in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost his or her cellphone possibly at a bar in the 600 block of Yampa Street.

7:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident involving a cyclist and a truck driver at Yampa and Fifth streets. The cyclist reportedly slapped the truck’s mirror and damaged it. The cyclist could not be found, and the truck driver did not think he did anything wrong.

8:28 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell off his or her bike on the Yampa River Core Trail near Fetcher Pond.

9:05 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle.
