Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

2:34 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 2700 block of Village Drive.

3:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Fifth and Yampa streets. The 42-year-old man was arrested on a warrant.

5:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.

7:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken car window in the 1000 block of The Boulevard.

7:57 a.m. A found wallet was turned in at the police station.

8:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a parking complaint in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

9:26 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 40100 block of Lindsay Drive.

9:46 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken car window in the 1100 block of Oak Street.

10:20 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1400 block of Moraine Circle.

10:31 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a structure fire in the 58000 block of Jupiter Place. A garage was heavily damaged. It was unknown what caused the fire.

12:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man acting strangely in the bathroom at the Stock Bridge Transit Center. He was gone when officers arrived.

1:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A woman said her purse was stolen when she went inside briefly to use the restroom.

1:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a parking complaint in the 600 block of Yampa Street.

2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been parked in a lot for awhile in the 100 block of Trafalgar Drive. The owner was contacted.

2:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had an expired license plate in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a parking complaint in the 600 block of Yampa Street.

4:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person selling sage sticks at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The person was gone when officers arrived.

4:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a driver in the 600 block of Snapdragon Way. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

5:42 p.m. North Routt firefighters were called to a report of a wildfire at Pearl Lake Campground. A wood pile caught fire, and the fire was put out.

6:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver near Bob Adams Drive. The driver was located but was not drunk.

6:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost his or her wedding ring while tubing on the Yampa River.

7:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about construction noise in the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots near Bear Drive. Officers think it was fireworks. There were several other fireworks complaints during the night.

9 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

10:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. It was gone when officers arrived.

11:09 p.m. Officers stopped a car at High Point Drive and Tamarack Drive and arrested a 39-year-old man celebrating his birthday on suspicion of DUI.

1:53 p.m. -- Something stolen at Dream Island? No way!! I leave my diamonds out there. Maybe it was the giraffes.

2:21 p.m. -- Get a life.

4:01 p.m. -- I didn't know sage sticks were illegal. What am I missing?

6:50 p.m. -- I'll bet if the whole department hits the river, they'd find that ring. Ski Patrol would do it.
