Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a couple arguing in the 2600 block of Windward Way. A 40-year-old woman was arrested for violating a restraining order related to drinking alcohol.

1:38 a.m. Officers were called to help someone scare away a bear that was trying to get into a Dumpster in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

3:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

5:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

7:49 a.m. Officers contacted a man sleeping in his car at the Stock Bridge Transit Center and gave a verbal warning not to sleep there.

9:33 a.m. Officers were called to help answer questions about tenants who had not paid rent in the 1000 block of The Boulevard.

9:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 1600 block of Shield Drive. A man stopped at the business to confront a driver about tailgating, and they got into an argument.

10:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a couple arguing in the first block of Butcherknife Alley.

10:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about a man taking pictures of children at Little Toots Park. A 40-year-old man was arrested for having a warrant.

1:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen from a stairwell in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. The bike had been locked, and someone cut the cable. The bike was valued at less than $500.

3:33 p.m. A person came to the Routt County Sheriff’s Office and turned in a license plate found near mile marker 68 on Colorado Highway 131.

3:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a child’s bike that had been stolen from a storage unit sometime in the past year in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.

4:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $64 of gas stolen from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

5:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a camper parked outside a home in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the first block of Cypress Court.

6:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was speeding and almost hit several people in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car could not be found.

7:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who rolled through a stop sign and hit a woman at low speed at Seventh and Pine streets. The woman was not hurt, and the driver apologized. The woman was concerned the person might have been drunk and was worried about his ability to drive. She did not have the car’s license plate number, and officers could not find the car.

8:57 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of juveniles having a fire outside a residence on Anglers Drive. The fire was put out.

9:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 1300 block of Eagle Glen Drive.
