Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:21 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a back injury in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue.
3:47 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 1000 block of Thornburg Street.
7:16 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a noninjury rollover crash near mile marker 122 on U.S. Highway 40.
8:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 500 block of Eaglepointe Court.
8:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who reported his or her backpack had been stolen Tuesday night at Bud Werner Memorial Library. The backpack was returned later Wednesday, and things were missing.
10:10 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive.
10:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at South Lincoln Avenue and Majestic Circle.
10:53 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 30400 block of Elk Lane.
12:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 28400 block of Routt County Road 14.
2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Central Park Drive and Mount Werner Road.
3:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people making ski jumps near the Spring Creek Trail tunnel going under Fish Creek Falls Road. Officers could not find the people.
3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash on Downhill Plaza.
3:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a counterfeit $100 bill found at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man in Steamboat who was receiving harassing text messages from a girlfriend. A citation was issued.
6:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a homeless man who had stolen food from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The man was confronted by an employee, returned the food and then left.
7:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man at a bus stop on Walton Creek Road. The man could not be found.
7:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who had stolen a sweatshirt from a store in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and violation of a protection order.
