Hayden Town Board to discuss health insurance at Thursday meeting

Steamboat Springs — The Hayden Town Board on Thursday will hold a special meeting to pick a health insurance carrier for town employees.
The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. at Hayden Town Hall.
Town Manager David Torgler is recommending the town use health insurance coverage through the Colorado Employer Benefit Trust, a pool used by about 270 local Colorado governments. The coverage costs less than what the town currently pays with an estimated annual savings of $35,350.
