Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 3 on Routt County Road 129.

2:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person that possibly overdosed near mile marker 58 on Colorado Highway 131.

7:42 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a multi-car crash near mile marker 117 on U.S. Highway 40. Three people were taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

12:17 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person that saw a car hit another car at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers could not find damage to any vehicles.

1:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Sandhill Circle and Hilltop Parkway.

1:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car approaching Steamboat on U.S. 40 that was passing cars on the shoulder. The car could not be found.

4:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

6:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car parked illegally in a handicapped spot in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.

6:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a resident who came home from vacation and found an unknown car parked in their driveway in the 400 block of 12th Street. It was towed.

7:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person that fainted in the 1600 block of Ranch Road.

9:04 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possible drunken driver near mile marker 67 on Colo. 131. A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and weaving.

10:13 p.m. The Routt County Coroner was called to help with a hospice patient that died in the 28600 block of Yellow Jacket Drive.

10:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver in an older pickup at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue who was trying to race other cars. Officers found the car, but no one was in it.
