Steamboat Springs — The annual Ski for Women event kicks off with a candlelight ski tour and dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center. The event costs $20 and includes skiing, dinner and music by Tim Trumble. Register for the dinner by calling 970-879-8180.
The event continues with a 5-kilometer cross-country ski or snowshoe course at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27. The event is by donation and includes a chili lunch, prizes, music by Sundog and a silent auction. Donations of $30 or more include a gift bag. Register for the 5K from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 27 at the Ski Touring Center.
Proceeds from both events benefit Advocates Building Peaceful Communities and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Routt County. For more information, call 970-879-2034.
