Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, criminal mischief, false imprisonment and obstruction of telephone service.
7:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 152 on U.S. Highway 40.
8:42 a.m. Officers were called to help with a civil complaint. A contractor reportedly had taken money from a person, and the contractor had not done the work.
11:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain at the Steamboat Springs Community Center.
3:50 p.m. Officers were called to help find the owner of a home in the first block of Maple Street because water was flowing out of the home.
4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way. A man was upset because he was refused service at the bar after being kicked out of another bar. A 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
5:51 p.m. Officers were called to help a person at Walton Creek and Whistler roads. A person was concerned about a woman who was hitchhiking while wearing dark clothes.
10:02 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having an unknown medical problem in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.
10:25 p.m. Officers investigated a house with an open garage door in the 3400 block of Hiawatha Court. Everything was fine.
