Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report from Steamboat Springs Transit of a drunken pedestrian in Gondola Transit Center. Police were unable to locate the person.
12:34 a.m. Officers responded to a noise complaint from a security company in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. The security employees had asked a group to be quiet, but the group did not listen and the employees needed assistance from police.
12:35 a.m. Officers responded to a report of multiple intoxicated people fighting outside a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. Police warned the people, and no charges were pursued.
12:57 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The person was ticketed for public urination.
1:05 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. There was a verbal disagreement, and the people involved were separated.
1:18 a.m. Officers contacted a person in the 2600 block of Medicine Springs Drive.
1:20 a.m. Officers were called to do extra patrols at the ice castle because beer bottles and cans were found in the area. Officers found a person in the castle after it had closed, and the person gave police a fake name and birthdate and then ran from police. A 25-year-old was arrested for second-degree criminal trespassing, false reporting and obstructing a peace officer.
2:04 a.m. Officers contacted a person in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:08 a.m. Officers contacted a driver at Eighth and Yampa streets. A 52-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
9:17 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to a noninjury crash at mile marker 1 on Routt County Road 52.
10:24 a.m. Officers responded to a complaint about an animal in the 300 block of Steamboat Boulevard. The caller said two dogs had been barking since 8 a.m. and didn’t think the owner was home. He or she said it was an ongoing situation.
10:29 a.m. Officers responded to an audible garage door intrusion alarm in the 1100 block of Graystone Court.
10:48 a.m. Identity theft was reported at the police station. It is being investigated.
11:06 a.m. The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers responded to an animal call at the Steamboat water treatment plant.
12:05 p.m. Officers responded to a complaint about an animal in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. The caller was worried about a dog that was chained up outside.
12:40 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious incident in the 54000 block of C.R. 129.
1:14 p.m. Deputies responded to a skier vs. skier crash at Steamboat Ski Area.
1:17 p.m. Officers responded to a report of unauthorized use of credit card in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive.
1:19 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a cold hit-and-run crash in the 2100 block of Pine Grove Road.
1:28 p.m. Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 1900 block of Storm Meadows Drive. The caller reported snowboarders were jumping off a roof. They were gone when officers arrived.
1:35 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters responded to assist a resident in the 24000 block of Arapahoe Road in Oak Creek.
2:08 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters responded to assist a resident in the 20500 block of King Bolt Trail in Oak Creek.
2:15 p.m. Officers responded to a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. A ticket was issued for following too closely.
2:24 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an iPhone that was lost between the Steamboat Music Tent and a visitor’s hotel.
2:44 p.m. Deputies responded to an intrusion alarm in the 1300 block of Colorado Highway 131.
4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. An employee at a business reported that someone called to ask for money.
5:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault at the football field at Steamboat Springs High School. A male student at the high school was charged with third-degree assault, and the victim had minor injuries.
5:17 p.m. Troopers and deputies responded to the report of a car crash at mile marker 141 on U.S. Highway 40.
6:07 p.m. Officers responded to a complaint about an animal in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. Someone found a cat.
6:43 p.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers assisted a resident in the 100 block of Nancy Crawford Boulevard in Oak Creek.
7:31 p.m. Steamboat officers responded to a noise complaint near Steamboat Ski Area. The caller said the music coming from the Steamboat Music Tent was too loud.
7:36 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers responded to a report of an animal bite in the 200 block of Harvest Court in Hayden.
9:21 p.m. Officers contacted an intoxicated person at the Steamboat Music Tent. A female was taken to detox.
10:32 p.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in on C.R. 179 in Oak Creek.
