Steamboat Springs Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:02 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car that hit an animal. The animal was gone when deputies arrived.
1:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
1:49 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken person at Old Mount Werner Road and Steamboat Boulevard.
2:06 a.m. Police were called to a report of a truck stuck in the snow at Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. Officers gave the driver a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.
4:48 a.m. Police were called to check on a driver at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue who looked to a passer-by as though he was slumped over the steering wheel. The driver was just working on his computer.
8:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of a person putting leftover construction materials in a trash bin that didn’t belong to them in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.
11:32 a.m. Police were called to a report of damage to a toilet at a business in the 2400 block of Downhill Drive.
12:05 p.m. Police were called to a report of a person who had slipped on the sidewalk in the first block of 10th Street. The victim called police to complain that the business was not maintaining its sidewalks to code.
1:14 p.m. A woman called police to report a lost purse somewhere between Yampa Valley Regional Airport and One Steamboat Place.
3:22 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car that hit a hotel shuttle in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle and then drove away. The car was found, and officers issued the driver a ticket.
3:48 p.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.
5:01 p.m. A person called police to report a wallet lost in the 100 block of Ninth Street.
7:47 p.m. A woman called police about a man who followed her to her car in the 800 block of Oak Street and harassed her until she threatened to call police.
8:25 p.m. Someone found a wallet at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue and called police to have them pick it up.
9:35 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a driveway at mile marker 127 of U.S. Highway 40. Deputies said the person had stopped on his or her property to talk on a cellphone.
11:35 p.m. Police pulled over a car that did not have its headlights on at the Gondola Transit Center. Officers arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of failure to display lights, minor in possession of alcohol and driving under the influence.

7:47 p.m. So I left, and she calls ANYWAY? Jeez!! What's a fella supposed to -- wait -- 7:47? Different girl. Never mind.
