Why: Hayden coach Mike Luppes keeps a stat he calls quality points. He calculates it by adding one negative point for missed shots and turnovers with one point for made shots, rebounds and assists, among other things. Luppes had Valdez with 46 quality points in a win against Soroco last week, an absurd number the coach said. Valdez scored 25 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had six assists and four steals.
