Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club freestyle moguls team brings home hardware

Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club freestyle moguls team registered multiple top finishes during the weekend at a Rocky Mountain Divisional event in Telluride.
Competing in single duals Saturday and Sunday and a dual moguls event Monday, the Winter Sports Club had seven podium finishes.
Jaelin Kauf landed on top of the podium all three days. George DeGrandis was third Saturday, second Sunday and first in dual moguls Monday. Skyler Kauf was second in dual moguls, and Brad Hoefer was fifth.
“Every day, kids were putting up stand-up runs from top to bottom,” coach Mike Amatto said.
The team next competes Saturday and Sunday in Steamboat at a Rocky Mountain Divisional event.
