Police, fire and ambulance calls

2 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people who got into a shouting match with a bus driver over sports at the Gondola Transit Center. The bus driver kicked them off the bus.

8:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem at Meadow Lane and Bear Drive.

10:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver disregarding a stop sign near Eighth Street. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.

11:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of winter boots missing in the 600 block of Pine Street. An officer found them in a closet.

1:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash on Clubhouse Drive.

1:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of counterfeit bills found at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:11 p.m. A person came to the police department to report harassment.

3:16 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a theft in the 100 block of East First Street in Yampa.

4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

7:23 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to help rescue skiers in Fish Creek Canyon.

8:23 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue.

8:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be found.

9:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a crash on Indian Trails. A car lost control and slid down an embankment. No one was injured and a ticket was issued to the driver for driving too fast for conditions.
