Police, fire and ambulance calls
6:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people who were being loud in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza.
7:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a half-full bottle of liquor found at a bus stop at Après Ski and Alpenglow ways. It’s thought it belonged to a person who was taken to detox earlier.
8:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in Steamboat who was receiving harassing emails, text messages and phone calls from a former landlord regarding back rent.
11:42 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who wrote a check to a hot springs business in the 44200 block of Routt County Road 36 without having sufficient funds in his or her bank account.
2:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking the road in the 100 block of Telemark Court.
2:46 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to prepare for a plane making an emergency landing. The pilot was having trouble controlling the plane but was able to safely land.
2:48 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possible drunken driver near mile marker 114 on U.S. Highway 40.
3:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off the road near C.R.s 14 and 14A.
3:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a domestic disturbance in Steamboat.
5:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck that ran a red light at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
5:44 p.m. Officers were called to check on two people and a dog that were walking on the Yampa River ice near Fish Creek. They could not be found.
6:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
6:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man and a woman who were having a disagreement about money in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue after the man had picked up the woman from jail.
7:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing in the 26500 block of C.R. 43. A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespassing and being a public nuisance.
8:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 500 block of Parkview Drive. Someone wanted to report that someone had knocked on his or her door.
9:07 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a diabetic person in the 2800 block of Trails Edge.
10:42 p.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car occupied by a male and female at Howelsen Skate Park. They were asked to leave.
11:52 p.m. Officers contacted people messing with a snow statue on Lincoln Avenue. They were warned not to do it again.
