Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help with a man who had been kicked out of a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue because he was drunk and causing a disturbance. The man was contacted and told not to return to the bar. About 30 minutes later, the man reportedly was fighting in front of the bar with another man who had been kicked out of the bar. The 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
10:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles snowboarding and building a jump at the Spring Creek tunnel under Fish Creek Falls Road. They were gone when officers arrived.
12:46 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a man who injured his leg while skiing at a ranch near Clark.
12:47 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to help a person having a medical problem.
12:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car parked in front of a driveway in the 200 block of James Street.
1:08 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to rescue three skiers who got stuck in the Fish Creek drainage. Volunteers brought the skiers snowshoes, and everyone walked out safely.
2:50 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive.
4:10 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of several cars that had slid off Routt County Road 36.
4:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorist whose car hit another car and then drove off at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
5:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between a tenant and landlord in the 1300 block of Conestoga Circle. The dispute was about the landlord wanting to inspect the property.
5:42 p.m. Officers investigated an incident at the police station in which a man intentionally slammed a door and broke it. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
5:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorist who almost ran into another car and then ran a stop sign at Seventh and Oak streets.
6:18 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to a report of an aircraft emergency. A plane landed and then ran out of gas before being able to taxi off the runway. The runway was closed temporarily until the plane got off the runway. The pilot of the plane had intended to refuel at Steamboat Springs Airport but diverted to YVRA because of bad weather.
6:19 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
