Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a suspicious incident at a complex on 13th Street. A drunken person was pounding on a resident's door, trying to get into the building.
8:25 a.m. Officers were called to an illegally parked vehicle at the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.
9:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment at a residence on Jackpine Court. There was a dispute between a mother and father regarding custody rights for a child. Officers took a report, and no arrests were made.
10:15 a.m. Someone came to the police department to report threatening text messages from someone saying they had the party's dog and they would take it to the pound if they didn't give them money.
11:17 a.m. Officers were called to a theft at the 700 block of Yampa Street. Someone had their purse with clothing and other items inside stolen from a business.
11:41 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about harassment at the 3400 block of Apres Ski Way. It was a civil issue between neighbors regarding an animal. A report was taken, and a harassment citation was issued because a dog apparently pooped in the person's yard.
12:55 p.m. Officers were called to a fight at the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Four men got into a fight at a business and no charges were pressed.
3:40 p.m. Officers were called to a hit-and-run crash in the Lower Knoll Parking Lot. Officers took down vehicle descriptions.
5:11 p.m. Officers were called to a hit-and-run in the Knoll Parking Lot. A vehicle's front end was damaged, and officers took descriptions.
10:34 p.m. Officers were called to a suspicious vehicle complaint at the Steamboat Springs High School maintenance building. Officers reported everything was fine.
