Harassment for a pooping dog ??? What next ??? Please, someone come forward and defend this poor dog.

Now that you brought it up, Bill -- I wasn't going to say anything -- but regarding the same entry -- I have a problem with the word "pooped."

These are, in theory at least, professional journalists writing these columns. If I recall Journalism 101, my professors would have me stretch my vocabulary to avoid such an archaic and trite term as "pooped." They might suggest defecated, left stool, emptied bowels, relieved himself, even did a number two, but pooped? Have you no class? Just an ounce of imagination?

Please, there are third graders who are forming their vocabulary and reading this column; please don't start them down the wrong road. And rest of the world: Don't take this as indicative of the locale generally.

I just saw two ambulances and a fire truck -- likely carrying lights and extraction equipment -- headed west on 40. My prayers go to the victims. Little preview; let's see how it gets written up.

When you park in the lower knoll lot ,you deserve what happens to your car. That is why it is called the crash and dash lot. The ski corp is too lazy to control it. Wait till the tent goes up. Even less parking. Why isn't the ski corp held to the same standards as someone who starts a new business or condo project to jump through hoops to provide parking?

Rhys great post. Thanks for bringing a little levity to my day. And thank you for protecting the third graders of the Yampa Valley. P.S. lets discuss that business plan. I see big money in your future. Happy New Year everyone!
