Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Eighth Street. A man was confronted about writing a word on a person’s door using a marker. The man then got upset and broke a window.
8:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 2300 block of Savoy Place.
12:43 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a vehicle complaint at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue.
12:58 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell off a ladder in the 38900 block of Spruce Street in Milner.
3:34 p.m. Officers were called to help with a child custody dispute.
3:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a skier vs. skier collision at Steamboat Ski Area. A man hit a woman making slow turns. The woman was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
8:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck towing snowmobiles that was blocking the fire station door.
11:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of careless driving, leaving an accident involving damage, DUI and DUI per se.
