Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 41800 block of Routt County Road 36.

5:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man who was refusing to leave an apartment in the 1000 block of Mountain Village Circle. The man had left by the time officers arrived.

7:12 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an 83-year-old man in the 1500 block of Eagle Glen Drive. The man died from suspected natural causes.

8:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee arguing with a former employer in the 2400 block of Val D’Isere Circle.

8:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person illegally using a Dumpster in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

8:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Cherry and Tamarack drives. There were seven other crashes during the day, but no serious injuries were reported.

11:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving unwanted phone calls in the 600 block of Anglers Court. The person was told how to block the calls.

11:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a child custody dispute in the 2900 block of Après Ski Way.

1:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The driver was contacted and was not drunk.

4:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

4:37 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem.

4:50 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over a car in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue because the driver failed to signal. The 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

6:01 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection firefighters were called to a report of a pickup that lost control and crashed near mile marker 118 on U.S. Highway 40. A female was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center as a precaution.

10:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man harassing hotel guests in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. He was not a guest at the hotel and was escorted off the property and told not to come back. The 42-year-old man was arrested Monday morning after he reportedly threw a laptop at officers at a hotel in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
