Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:35 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 40300 block of Anchor Way.

8:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a parked car that had been rear-ended in front of Bud Werner Memorial Library on Lincoln Avenue. The car was badly damaged, and it is thought the crash occurred sometime between 7:10 and 8:30 a.m. Police are looking for a car with damage to the front passenger side. People with information are asked to call 970-879-4344.

10:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hotel room that had been damaged by a guest in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

12:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of money taken from a museum in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a skier vs. skier collision at Steamboat Ski Area.

1:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A motel employee was concerned about a guest who had said odd things and left his medications in the room. Police contacted him several times during the night because he was causing disturbances at downtown bars, but he did not break any laws.

2:50 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem at the North Routt Community Charter School.

3:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association. A homeless man had been hanging out in the area, and Chamber staff members said he was not the sort of ambassador they wanted for Steamboat. The man left the area when officers arrived.

3:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road who had received harassing phone calls.

4:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an 11-year-old girl who left her home because she was upset with her mother. The girl was found. She was not wearing warm clothes, so she was checked out for injuries related to being cold.

5:52 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 300 block of Vista Verde Drive.

7:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $500 business laptop stolen from a bookstore in the first block of Ninth Street.

7:32 p.m. Officers were called to check on a drunken person in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was given a ride home.

10:07 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in the 21400 block of Third Avenue in Phippsburg.

11:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.
