Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A drunken man became upset after being cut off by the bartender. While being escorted out of the bar, he poured a beer on a customer. Once outside the bar, the bartender said the man broke a beer bottle and threw snowballs at the bar window. Police found the man walking down Lincoln Avenue carrying a yellow sled, and he reportedly had a collapsible baton in his pocket. Police said he made threatening remarks to an officer while being taken to jail. The 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony attempting to influence a public servant, possession of a dangerous weapon, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.
7:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. There were eight other noninjury crashes during the day in Routt County.
1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a business that wanted to complain about snow being pushed onto the business's property in the 2600 block of Jacob Circle.
2:21 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Howelsen Hill.
3:28 p.m. Officers were called to a suspicious person in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. It was a transient man, and he was gone when officers arrived.
4:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who wanted to complain about noise coming from a neighbor in the 1000 block of Pine Street. It is an ongoing issue, and a verbal warning was issued.
8:40 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who may have overdosed in the 300 block of Coronado Place.
11:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three males pushing one another at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. A 28-year-old man had a warrant and was arrested.
