— 12:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a loud noise in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

10:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 900 block of Falling Water Lane. Police arrested a man who was suspected of stealing his wife's pain management medication.

1:10 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue was called to help an injured hiker near Gold Creek Lake.

1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fraud in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square. An employee at a retail store thought a customer was trying to use a counterfeit $100 bill. Police determined the bill was real.

5:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. A 24-year-old man was cleaning a pistol when it discharged, and a bullet hit his roommate's dog. The dog was taken to a veterinary clinic, and the man was issued a court summons for the unlawful discharge of a firearm. Police determined the shooting was accidental.

8:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious shirtless man who was walking into traffic at Walton Creek and Whistler roads. The man, who also was not wearing any shoes, was gone when officers arrived.
