Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance at an alley behind a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, driving without a valid driver’s license, open alcohol beverage container and an outstanding warrant.

5:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a scooter lying on a retaining wall with its lights on in the 300 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road. It was moved to a safe place.

7:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person suffering from a possible stroke in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane.

8:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike found on a bus.

8:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost his or her ring at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

8:36 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who was threatened in the 13100 block of U.S. Highway 40.

8:36 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who was threatened in the 54700 block of Routt County Road 129.

8:55 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of patio furniture thrown into a pool and damaged at a resort in the 54700 block of C.R. 129 in Clark.

9:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver’s license found at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

11:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a license plate that had been stolen off a car.

12:05 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with trauma at a golf course in the 26800 block of U.S. 40.

12:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive who wanted to complain about a roofing company not doing a job properly.

1:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who heard gunshots in the Country Green Subdivision.

1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motel owner in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue who wanted to complain about a dog owner letting his or her dog go to the bathroom on motel property. The motel owner wanted to complain even though the dog owner cleaned up after the dog. Police did not do anything about it.

3:39 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a deer that possibly had been hit by a car near mile marker 12 on C.R. 129. It was not there when deputies arrived.

4:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 3400 block of Hiawatha Court who wanted to report identity theft.

4:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trash that had been left out and was blowing around in the 500 block of Wyatt Drive.

5:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an unauthorized person moving a motor home in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids wrestling near a gun store in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza, and it appeared one had a gun. The kids could not be found.

8:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids on the Soda Creek Elementary School roof. There were no kids on the roof when officers arrived, but officers spoke to some kids playing at the playground.

11:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of drunken people loitering at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street after they had been cut off. A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman celebrating her birthday were arrested on suspicion of violating protection orders.

11:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a stairwell in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. It was gone when officers arrived.
