Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:35 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car on Fish Creek Falls Road. It was red tagged.

6:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the first block of Arapahoe Lane. A family member staying with the person who lives at the home was causing a disturbance. Officers arrested a man on violation of bail.

8:19 a.m. Officers were called to assist a person at Walton Village Condos. A woman who refused to give her name called to complain about a hot air balloon that landed in Sparta Plaza parking lot. She was concerned about the legality of where the balloon could land and said the flames were near buildings. Officers issued a verbal warning to the balloonist.

9:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Shield Drive. A business owner reported that portable toilets were knocked over.

10:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person skipping out on $53 in gas in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

10:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A person reported that something was stolen from a car left in a parking lot.

11:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint in the 300 block of Anglers Drive. A woman called to report that a blue heeler/Australian shepherd mix that was not hers was missing. It was referred to animal control.

11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the City Market parking lot. A ticket was issued.

12:50 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the Fish Creek Falls parking lot. The incident had occurred at an earlier date.

1:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 100 block of Howelsen Parkway.

3:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2500 block of Ski Trail Lane. A teenage son was causing a family disturbance. Officers mediated the situation.

4:01 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a missing moped at Tree Haus Bridge. It was unclear whether the moped was missing.

4:14 p.m. Officers were called to perform a welfare check in the 2500 block of Cattle Kate Circle. An intoxicated person was taken to the hospital.

6:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 6800 block of Routt County Road 74A. It was part of an ongoing dispute between neighbors.

6:34 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint of trespassing in the 100 block of Howelsen Parkway. A ski jumping coach called to complain that there were people running on the plastic jump. Officers issued a verbal warning.

10:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus. A person called to report that the bus driver was upset with him and threatening him. The man reportedly sounded intoxicated, and officers were not able to make contact with him.

11:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. Officers issued a written warning.

11:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 3100 block of Chinook Lane. A person called to report his or her neighbors were coming over and knocking on the door and then leaving. Officers were not able to make contact with anyone.
