Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of kids being loud at a pool area in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. They were gone when officers arrived.

8:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet with $60 lost in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a Dumpster on the street in the 2500 block of Val D’Isere Circle, and the Dumpster was creating a traffic hazard.

10:25 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a fire near mile marker 58 on Colorado Highway 131. It was a controlled burn.

11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $450 bike stolen from a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on Friday.

1 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person illegally putting things in a Dumpster in the 2600 block of Jacob Circle.

1:43 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of vandalism in the 28400 block of Routt County Road 179.

2:29 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in Hahn’s Peak.

3:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing in the 18500 block of U.S. Highway 40.

3:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was texting while driving in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. The driver could not be found.

3:30 p.m. Officers contacted a man who was panhandling near a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue and gave the man a summons to appear in court.

4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing license plate in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found money near the post office.

6:14 p.m. Officers contacted a drunken person at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue and took him or her to detox.

6:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an alarm or buzzing sound coming from an electrical box in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. Yampa Valley Electric Association was called.

7:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $425 bike stolen in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.

7:56 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 300 block of East Main Street.
