Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud voices and a barking dog in the 400 block of Dabney Lane. They were asked to be quiet.

1:31 a.m. Officers contacted a drunken man at a bar in the 800 block of Yampa Street and took him to detox.

2:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Yampa and Seventh streets.

2:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident at Yampa and Sixth streets. A drunken person crashed his or her bike and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

6:12 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a woman who said she could not get to work because a car was blocking in her car in the 400 block of High Meadow Court.

7:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that hit a deer near mile marker 104 on U.S. Highway 40. No one was hurt.

7:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found a wallet on Blackmer Drive.

10:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was standing in traffic and hitchhiking near mile marker 130 on U.S. 40.

11:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car being driven recklessly near Lagoon Court. Officers gave a written warning.

12:43 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in Steamboat.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in Steamboat.

3:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a purse and wallet somewhere downtown.

3:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about weeds that were very tall and starting to block a driveway at Springs Valley Drive and Meadow Lane.

3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of code enforcement in the 1400 block of Blue Spruce Court.

3:55 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 61900 block of Routt County Road 129.

4:34 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain in the 61900 block of C.R. 129.

5:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone and credit card taken from a truck in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person called back to say they found the items in their trash.

6:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet lost at Chinook Lane and Walton Creek Road.

6:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who saw a lightning strike and possibly smoke at Burgess Creek Road and Trails Edge. No smoke could be found.

7:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an argument that was getting heated in the 2800 block of Village Drive.

8:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A “nice looking” family consisting of a couple and their two kids left a restaurant without paying their $125 bill. Police could not find them.

8:59 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 23700 block of Routt County Road 15 near Yampa.

9:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza.

10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. A person reported hearing four shots and a ricochet and saw a flash. Eight people were seen running down the street and laughing, and one person was heard saying “well that hurt like hell.” Another person saw three males with fireworks in the area.

11:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 3000 block of Village Drive.
