Police, fire and ambulance calls

6:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

8:25 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who wanted officers to do more patrols in the Brooklyn neighborhood because of problems with residents not securing their trash.

9:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a customer who was angry in the 600 block of Anglers Drive at the Division of Motor Vehicles office. The person was told to leave and not come back.

10:46 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a wildfire in the 34200 block of Colorado Highway 131. It was a small grass fire.

12:25 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 1100 block of Anglers Drive. A man was worried because he got a garbled text from his parents.

1:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person on Balsam Court who was concerned about drug activity.

3:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a male who was caught shoplifting in the 1100 block of Yampa Street. The person left, and officers could not find him. The business did not want to pursue charges.

3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1200 block of Ridge View Drive who said his or her Social Security number had been used on another person's taxes.

4:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had his or her trash can stolen in the 500 block of Parkview Drive.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint at Soda Creek Elementary School.

8:31 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 700 block of East Lincoln Avenue.

9:37 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car driving around in the 33700 block of Lariat Trail near Oak Creek. The driver was lost.

10:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a female who possibly was suicidal in Steamboat. She was taken to detox.
