Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of eggs that had been thrown onto the side of a building and on windows in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:51 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 40 near Hayden.

9:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to report a newspaper classified ad that was a scam. The person who placed the ad was looking for a driver to drive his 69-year-old mother around while she looked for homes. The person who responded to the ad said the person who placed the ad was asking for an address and bank account number.

11:22 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 2700 block of U.S. 40.

12:01 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 9500 block of Colorado Highway 131 near Toponas.

2:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man from out of state who wanted to report identity theft. The man reportedly had filed for unemployment and was told someone in Steamboat was using his Social Security number and reporting income.

2:56 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fight at East First Street and North Grant Avenue in Oak Creek.

3:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that drove past a school bus stop sign at Fourth and Oak streets.

5:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 400 block of Anglers Drive.

8:38 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 300 block of South Sharp Avenue.

8:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of hotel workers in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court who were trying to find out who owned a car in the garage.

9:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of Colorado Mountain College officials that confiscated marijuana from a student. The student was younger than 21 years old and was given a summons for possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana.

9:50 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue.

10:14 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person complaining about a headache in the 1700 block of Latigo Loop.

11:07 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing at hot springs in the 44200 block of Routt County Road 36.

11:20 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 200 block of Moffat Avenue.
