Power outage slows newspaper delivery

— A power outage at the Steamboat Pilot & Today office early Wednesday morning delayed production and delivery of Wednesday's Steamboat Today newspaper.

The power went out at approximately 11:30 p.m. and was not restored until 2 a.m. Normally, presses run on the Craig Daily Press at midnight and the Steamboat Today goes on the press before 2 a.m. Because of the power outage, Wednesday's press runs were two hours behind schedule.

"We should be able to get all newspapers delivered by 8 a.m.," Steamboat Today General Manager Scott Stanford said. "We appreciate readers' patience and apologize for any inconvenience."
