Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 900 block of Merritt Street.

6 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 9 on Routt County Road 129.

8:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that ran into a moving Subaru near Pine Grove Road and Rollingstone Drive. The bear bounced off the car and took off running. The Subaru had a dent in the door and quarter panel.

9:30 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 64 on Colorado Highway 131.

10:09 a.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive.

10:36 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a purse taken from the 100 block of East First Street in Yampa.

1:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who wanted to talk to an officer about ongoing harassment from a friend. The people were told not to contact each other.

1:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone found on Ninth Street. It was returned to the owner.

2:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of something stolen out of a truck at Steamboat Springs High School.

3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $1,100 skis stolen last week from a parking lot in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of skis taken from Steamboat Ski Area.

5:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person complaining about the way their employer handled reporting taxes.

11:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party with between 10 and 15 people and a bonfire in the 1700 block of Timothy Drive. A warning was given.
