Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:07 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek. The caller said parties were an ongoing issue and wanted the Oak Creek Police Department to respond.

7:19 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen bicycle. It has not been found.

9:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury crash in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A car knocked over a light pole and was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

12:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1300 block of Blue Spruce Court. A person trying to file a tax return received a message that another person had claimed earnings with the same Social Security number.

12:19 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 30000 block of Routt County Road 16. A person received a phone call asking for personal information.

12:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Central Park Plaza. Officers mediated an argument between two employees. They were given a warning.

1:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

2:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at North Park and Logan avenues.

3:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two bikes that were stolen in the first block of Cedar Court.

6:31 p.m. Officers were called to perform a welfare check in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. A parent wanted an adult child to go to the doctor because he reportedly was sick. Officer contacted the son, and he was fine.

7 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 2900 block of Abbey Road. A man wanted to report a false insurance claim. The insurance company also was dealing with the fraud report.

8:30 p.m. Officers were performing requested extra patrol near Soda Creek Elementary School and contacted people hanging around the playground. The playground is closed after dark.

9:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief at the Gondola Transit Center at Steamboat Ski Area. The window in a gondola car was broken. Four men and two women reportedly were responsible for the broken window but were refusing to pay for the damage. They left the scene, and officers followed and detained one person. That person was released. No further information was available.

11:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a vehicle complaint in the 40000 block of Steamboat Drive. A woman whose trash can was knocked over by people in a car wanted deputies to check whether the people were drunk. They were not.
