Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man who was seen trying to break into a car in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing, violation of a protection order, possession of a controlled substance and violating bond conditions.

7:35 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver at Colorado Highway 131 and U.S. Highway 40.

7:50 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an accident at Big Valley Drive and Routt County Road 35.

9:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman’s car missing from a restaurant in the 2100 block of Pine Grove Road. The report was unfounded. The woman’s friends had taken the keys and moved the car because the woman was not sober enough to drive the previous night.

10:38 a.m. A found cellphone was turned in at the Routt County Sheriff’s Office.

11:18 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who had received harassing phone calls.

12:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been keyed at Aspen Leaf Way and Walton Creek Road.

12:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at a railroad work yard along 13th Street. A person had let someone sleep in a camper and he or she took some things but left three cellphones in return.

2:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone found at Eighth and Oak streets.

2:22 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:46 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted in the 44200 block of C.R. 36.

3:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the first block of Eighth Street.

4 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding at 12th Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

4:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted police to contact skateboarders skating down Buckskin Drive.

5:24 p.m. A found passport was turned in at the police station.

7:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to document his car being damaged by an oil change business in the 2100 block of Downhill Drive.

10:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. A 42-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and careless driving.

10:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was drunk and banging on walls in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
