— The Steamboat Springs School District is seeking community feedback on the proposed calendar for its 2014-15 school year.

According to the district, the proposed calendar is similar to the ones used during the last three years.

The Steamboat School Board will be asked to approve the calendar before the end of this school year.

Community members can access the draft calendar here.

Comments on the calendar should be sent to Superintendent Brad Meeks at bmeeks@sssd.k12.co.us.

Meeks said notable changes to the proposed draft include school staff working three days prior to the start of school instead of four, and students starting the school year on a Tuesday instead of Wednesday.
