Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken person in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a ride home.
5:11 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a dead moose near mile marker 139 on U.S. Highway 40. It is thought the moose was not dead but was injured because deputies could not find it.
6:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of items stolen from a trailer in the first block of Anglers Drive.
7:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trash being left out in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way. A warning was given.
9:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. The driver could not be found.
10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be found.
1:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 2500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car missing from 200 block of South Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek.
3:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that passed on a double yellow line near mile marker eight on Routt County Road 129.
4:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a man wandering around in Milner. The man was contacted after a short pursuit.
5:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. A person threw an object on a car and was given a warning.
6:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person playing drums loudly in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. A warning was given.
8:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver at Short and James streets. The driver could not be found.
9:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that hit an elk near C.R. 14 and Colorado Highway 131.
10:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car parked at a business in the 54100 block of C.R. 129 in Clark.
11:45 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. A warning was given.
