Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:48 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1100 block of Longview Circle.
7:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a camera found in Gondola Square.
8:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver on South Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be found.
8:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 3400 block of Hiawatha Court. A bear had broken a car window.
9:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism at Howelsen Skate Park.
10:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver on Walton Creek Road. The driver could not be found.
11:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a piece of construction equipment missing from Colorado Mountain College.
11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person camping along the Yampa River in city limits.
1:34 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of people dumping deer carcasses in the 59300 block of Cripple Creek Court near Clark. It was a recurring problem.
3:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 600 block of Pine Street.
3:58 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of stolen ranch items in the 41700 block of Routt County Road 44.
4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who left a grocery store without paying for his or her groceries in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a warning.
5:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the first block of 10th Street.
6:33 p.m. Officers were called to help Yampa Valley Medical Center employees with a patient.
10:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person camping near Dougherty Road. The 47-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of false reporting to authorities because police say he provided a fake name. The man also was arrested on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice.
