Police, fire and ambulance calls
8:14 a.m. Steamboat Spring Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a car on fire at Steamboat Springs High School. A squirrel had made a nest under the hood of the car, and it caught fire.
9:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a trash complaint in the 1500 block of Red Hawk Court.
9:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing at Abbey Road and West End Avenue.
9:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism at Steamboat Springs High School.
11:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who received a threatening voicemail.
11:42 a.m. Officers helped a driver on South Lincoln Avenue.
11:43 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a rollover accident near mile marker 45 on Colorado Highway 131. A 26-year-old Yampa woman who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with serious injuries not thought to be life threatening. Her 3-year-old son was restrained and not injured.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two bikes found in the 1700 block of Shield Drive.
12:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 2400 block of West Acres Drive. Everything was fine.
12:56 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of former employees trespassing at a ranch in the 27300 block of Home Ranch Road. The were given warnings.
1:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about a dog locked in a car at Colorado Mountain College. The owner was contacted.
2:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a protection order violation on Mountain Village Circle.
4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.
6:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
6:32 p.m. Officers contacted a suspicious person at Howelsen Hill.
7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors arguing in the 4300 block of Covey Circle.
8:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 41300 block of Juniper Springs Court.
8:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of roommates arguing in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza.
8:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was riding a bike and dropped an envelope with cash in the area of Dream Island Mobile Home Park.
10:53 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was having chest pain in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.
