Steamboat Springs With the water tank project complete, Oak Creek is offering residents another chance to sound off. The Town Board is holding a public hearing for comments on how the town carried out the project during its meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Oak Creek Town Hall.
The South Routt Medical Center's request to vacate a portion of town right-of-way that runs next to its building also is up for comment. The Planning Commission previously reached a split decision on recommending that the town vacate the area.
Routt County Board of Commissioners candidate Tim Corrigan will be at Thursday's meeting for a discussion with the Town Board, according to the meeting agenda. Corrigan, a Democrat, is facing Jim "Moose" Barrows for the District 1 seat being vacated by longtime Commissioner Nancy Stahoviak.
Lastly, the Town Board will receive an update on oil and gas leasing activity in Routt County by the Community Alliance of the Yampa Valley.
